A yellow light is a little different from the other light colors you may see flashing on your hot tub. Knowing what to do will help you get the issue solved correctly to keep your hot tub running optimally.
Let's explore why a yellow light might be flashing on your hot tub and what to do about it!
- Look at the display to see if there is an error message displayed. This message will provide direction on what to do next.
- If the error message talks about the ACE Salt system your sanitization system needs attention.
- Check the salt levels in your spa with salt test strips, adjust as needed to get as close to 1750 ppm.
- Check to make sure the spa temp is set at a minimum of 95 degrees.
- Confirm your output level is correct for your families usage. See the table below for reference.

- If the message mentions No Flow, power the tub down and remove your filter(s). Power the tub back on leaving the filter(s) out. If the light stops flashing, the filters are dirty or beyond their usable life and need to be cleaned with a filter cleaner product or replaced. If the light is still flashing without filters in the hot tub, you will need a service visit.
